We’re Here for You During COVID-19 in Colorado

March 18, 2020.

Dear Family,

We want to say we sincerely hope you, and your friends and family, are staying healthy and keeping a positive mindset during this trying time.

We are currently maintaining regular business hours for appointments ONLY, with increased precautions.

We are taking many steps according to CDC guidelines to curb the spread the COVID-19 coronavirus.

  • Our doors are open to appointments only. If you need to pickup glasses or contacts please call to schedule. This way we can maintain a low level of patients in office.
  • You will be asked to wash your hands upon entering the office.
  • All patients who are feeling unwell, coughing, or have a pre-existing condition are asked to cancel their appointments.
  • All commonly touched surfaces and machines are being cleaned and sanitized twice as often as usual, and always between patients.
  • Lobby seating has been rearranged to allow for social distancing.
  • Frames are being cleaned between patients.
  • Several exam rooms are dedicated to high-risk patients only, so we may maintain a sanitary environment.
  • Glasses and contacts may be shipped directly to your home to avoid coming into the office. *Some exceptions may apply.
  • Hand sanitizer and extra hand-washing stations are available throughout the office.
  • Billing due dates have been extended.

Most importantly: We want you to know we are here for you. If you need healthcare guidance, even outside of eyecare, please don't hesitate to call.

It is most important to not overwhelm our healthcare facilities and staff. Self-isolation is the first step. Only proceed to a doctors office or healthcare facility after calling them to discuss your symptoms.

The following resources include reliable and updated facts from the WHO, CDC, and NIH concerning symptoms, precautions, and other pertinent information on the current COVID-19 situation. We will continue to adapt as this information changes.

Symptoms to watch for:

Fever, tiredness, and dry cough. Some may experience aches and pains, nasal congestion, runny nose, sore throat or diarrhea. These symptoms are usually mild and begin gradually. Some people will have no symptoms. Others who develop difficulty breathing may need medical attention. People over the age of 60 and those with underlying medical problems like high blood pressure, heart problems or diabetes, are more likely to develop serious illness.

Now... breath. Wash your hands. Enjoy the Colorado sun.

Thank you for being part of our Family!
